The Clinical Laboratory team of 6 board certified pathologists contribute their individual talents in solving each diagnostic challenge. This unique and effective approach has been very successful in providing clinicians with accurate and complete diagnoses. Our doctors are available at any time for personal, one-on-one consultation. HISTOLOGY
The skilled histology technical personnel of the Clinical Laboratory of the Black Hills prepare high quality tissue and slides for our staff of board certified pathologists.
CYTOLOGY
Clinical Laboratory of the Black Hills offers comprehensive cytology services under the direction of a board-certified cytopathologist. These services include gyn and non-gyn cytology. We offer the state of the art monolayer cell preparation.
LAB MANAGEMENT
CLBH has 6 pathologists who qualify to act as directors of highly or moderately complex laboratories and meet CLIA requirements.
CLBH also has a medical technologist who is qualified to act as a technical consultant for your laboratory. This service involves helping the laboratory supervisor meet the technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory demanded by CLIA.
ROAD SHOW
The “Road Show” is a collection of several human organs that are used for educational purposes. These organs represent different types of diseases vs. normal tissue. Clinical Laboratory of the Black Hills has displayed the “Road Show” to numerous schools, youth groups, and civic groups. This has been a positive learning experience for all.
